Yes. Smile Symphony Dental offers several ways to pay, including third-party options that let eligible patients spread an approved treatment balance over time. You can also pay with cash, debit or credit cards, American Express or Apple Pay. The right choice depends on the amount, the terms available and what fits your budget.

Everyday payment options
- Debit cards: pay from the funds available in your bank account.
- Credit cards, including American Express: use your card and repay your card provider under your existing agreement. Card interest and fees may apply.
- Cash: a straightforward option if you prefer to pay in person with cash.
- Apple Pay: use a supported card in your digital wallet for a convenient contactless payment.
Ask Smile Symphony Dental about any surcharge for your chosen payment method before paying. Paying by card or phone does not automatically create a separate instalment plan.
More choice for different treatment costs
For smaller balances, Smile Symphony Dental offers Afterpay. For larger balances, you can ask about Zip or humm. Available amounts depend on the provider, the clinic’s arrangements and your approval; there is no single dollar cut-off that applies to everyone. Provider fees, interest where applicable, and repayment terms need to be considered.
We also welcome patients with all Australian private health funds. Eligible benefits may help with part of your bill. Early access to superannuation may be possible in limited circumstances, explained later in this guide.
Paying over time
Spreading a balance can make payment dates easier to plan around your income and regular bills. It changes when you pay; it does not reduce the treatment fee. Any provider charges can increase the total you repay.
Provider overview, not a quote or a recommendation. Approval is not guaranteed. Confirm the product and terms available at Smile Symphony Dental before applying.

Convenience comes with a repayment commitment
Provider apps and repayment schedules can help you keep track of what is due. Before committing, compare the total repayment amount, fees, due dates and any interest-free expiry date. A longer term may mean smaller regular payments, but it can also mean paying fees or interest for longer.
Applications may involve credit checks, and missed payments may affect your credit record. Include existing debts and essential expenses in your budget. If repayments become difficult, contact the provider promptly about hardship assistance.
Using your private health cover
Smile Symphony Dental welcomes patients with all Australian private health funds. Whether your policy pays a benefit depends on your cover and the treatment. General dental services are usually considered under extras cover; hospital cover alone is different.
Accepting patients from a fund does not necessarily mean a clinic is a preferred provider for that fund. Ask your insurer about benefits for the proposed treatment at Smile Symphony Dental. Check waiting periods, exclusions and any limits that apply to your policy before proceeding.

Ask Smile Symphony Dental for the proposed treatment item numbers and use them to request a benefit estimate from your fund. Confirm how your claim will be lodged and when the balance is payable. An estimate helps you plan, but it is not a guarantee of the final benefit.
Start with the treatment plan and written estimate
Before choosing a payment method, ask Smile Symphony Dental to explain the recommended care, suitable alternatives, appointments and expected costs. Let us know early if cost is a concern so that you can discuss the available choices.
- Check what the estimate includes, such as assessment, imaging, treatment and follow-up, and what might cost extra.
- Ask whether care can be delivered in clinically appropriate stages and what delaying a stage would mean for your oral health.
- If you want to pay an eligible insurance gap using a payment provider, confirm that the clinic can process that arrangement and that the provider approves it.
- Keep your treatment estimate and finance agreement together. One describes the dental care and fees; the other sets out your repayment obligations.
Choose care for your needs
An approved credit limit is not a treatment recommendation or a spending target. Your clinical needs and informed choice should guide care at Smile Symphony Dental. You can take time to consider a proposed plan and ask for another opinion.
Could I use my super?
Some patients may qualify for early release of superannuation on compassionate grounds to pay for certain dental treatment. This is limited to eligible circumstances and is not available simply because treatment is expensive. Cosmetic dental work does not qualify under this pathway.
Eligibility and approval come first
You must meet the ATO’s requirements, including having no other way to pay the eligible expense. Supporting evidence is required. Check the current medical evidence requirements with the ATO and discuss the release process with your super fund. A dental treatment plan alone does not guarantee approval.
Smile Symphony Dental can discuss your clinical needs and provide a treatment estimate. The ATO assesses compassionate-release applications; the clinic cannot approve access to your super. Ask the ATO how to apply directly and what documents are needed.
Understand the effect on your retirement savings
Using super takes money out of your retirement savings and reduces the amount left invested for the future. Tax may also apply to the withdrawal. Speak with your super fund and consider advice from a licensed financial adviser or registered tax agent about your circumstances before deciding.
What if I do not have private health insurance?
You can still attend Smile Symphony Dental and use our accepted everyday payment methods. Third-party payment options may also be available if you meet the provider’s requirements. Ask for a written estimate so you understand the cost you will need to cover.
