The pre-treatment photograph documents the patient’s initial oral condition before implant-supported overdenture rehabilitation of the maxillary and mandibular arches.
The post-treatment photograph documents the completed smile following treatment.
This case involved the rehabilitation of both the maxillary and mandibular arches with implant-supported overdentures. An implant-supported overdenture is a removable dental prosthesis designed to gain support and retention from dental implants.
Treatment is individually planned according to the patient’s clinical and radiographic findings, oral health, available bone and soft-tissue conditions, implant position, bite and functional requirements.
Ongoing professional review, oral hygiene and prosthetic maintenance form an important part of care following implant-supported overdenture treatment.
The assessment, treatment planning and rehabilitation were completed by Dr Behzad Fazlali.
